So I did the thing where you have a manic day, then you sit down for 10 mins and think “I’ll do all the things in 10 mins to the best of my ability” when in reality you end up melting into the chair while browsing the internet on your laptop which has 10% battery left, then half ass the rest of your tasks for the day once said battery dies.
This is why you’re seeing socks instead of shoes. (Basically I was too lazy to put my shoes back on.) It’s also the reason I missed the last dredge of sunlight this afternoon.
Anyway this is what I wore today!
Remember how I mentioned that I cleaned out my closet? Well, I found this belt chilling out of sight! It’s one of those adjustable slide-y waist band belts, which makes it super good for flute playing (It expands as I breathe, leaving my lungs unrestricted!)
I participated in the Davistown markets today. It was a long, but great day.
My friend Ashley let me tack onto her stall
It was a pretty quiet day, and I didn’t sell many pieces (I sold two pieces. Of those my mum bought one (I don’t think it really counts if your mum buys it)) but it was ultimately a good experience.
It’s given me the motivation to revive the etsy store I started (I’ll post a link once I get this up and running!)
Anyway, enough about markets!
This is what I wore today.
I figured because it was a ‘seaside’ market that I’d go with something ‘sea’ themed.
All in all it was a good day!
This is the outfit I wore to uni a couple of days ago. I made the skirt last year and I don’t wear it enough!
The pattern on the fabric is tiny adorable mermaids.
I also urge you to imagine some red shoes on my feet as you view these images! My parents have a no shoe rule in the house, so I had to take my outfit photos sans shoes.
I’ve had a bit of extra time lately to be able to do some eye-shadow which is nice!
My old flute teacher was doing a clean out of her house and gave me these beautiful old teacups that her mother owned. I love how bright they are (and I will definitely be drinking tea out of them soon)
This is what I wore Wednesday!
Despite the fact I’m on uni break I’m spending quite a bit of time at uni. I’m currently catching up on my practice backlog, which involves lots of rehearsals / setting up in the practice rooms.
The last time I wore this Cardigan I was told that I looked as if I had skinned Elmo ( I would like to assure everyone that no elmo’s were harmed in the creation of this blog post.)
I also got a new camera! It’s a Sony qx10 which is basically just a lense. It has an adhoc WiFi signal which allows it to connect to your phone, which you use as the viewfinder.
To celebrate I took the following pictures of my dogs. At night. In my lounge room. (if I had been using my phone, they would have been a noisy mess)
They are such majestic creatures!
The Uni break is so close yet so far! I’ve started to feel a bit bored with my clothes, and I’m itching to get stuck into the sewing machine, but I’m not allowed until next week 😦
Anyway, this is what I wore to uni yesterday. I had a busy day, so I decided to keep in comfy. So here I am, being super comfortable.
The cardigan I’m wearing is super warm and super fluffy! A friend of mine thinks it looks like I’ve skinned elmo and made him into a jacket.
